It has taken a couple of years for me to appreciate Facebook. Initially, I thought it an invasion of my privacy; an evil necessity in today’s world; a time-consumer I could ill afford. But people like Yatendra Singh, one of my Facebook friends, whom I came upon through one of those happy accidents available only through such resources as Facebook, have changed my attitude to one of gratitude. Yatendra, for one, never fails to share with me little tidbits of wisdom such as those shown below. Thanks again, Yatendra. I’m thankful to be in your loop.

Happy Birthday, Yatendra.
This would have been my mother's birthday, if she were still alive. This is
also the first anniversary of the passing of my father. I will always remember
your birthday because of these linkages. I hope you have a great day with your
loved-ones.

Yatendra Singh Thank you
Linda. These are co incidences. Another one is that it is also the birth day of
Lord Rama, one of the Hindu Gods and all of India celebrates it for the whole
week, ending the celebrations on this day, every year. The week long
celebrations are called "Navratras", which are marked by fasting and this
day is called "Ramnavmi"..

I need to look into this. Thanks, Yatendra.

Yatendra Singh Sorry for
your loss. Linda..Today also is Charlie Chaplin's 125th birthday - a good day
to recollect his 3 heart-touching statements:-
(1) Nothing is permanent in this world, not even our troubles.
(2) I like walking in the rain, because nobody can see my tears.
(3) The most wasted day in life is the day in which we have not laughed.
Keep smiling and pass this message to everyone whom you want to see smiling too.
